![]() FAQ's 1.How can I listen to you? Listen to the samples on this website or email toniwarne@btinternet.com For a free demo CD. 2. How much do you cost? Prices can vary according to travelling distance, setting up and finishing times. Please email us with the date and location of your function for a quote. Or alternatively please call us for an informal chat on the number below. 3. When is payment due? Apollo ask for a small deposit of 20% once the date of your function has been agreed. We will send you two contracts, one for you to keep and one for you to return to us along with your deposit. The balance is due, in cash, on the night of the gig or by cheque, two weeks before. 4. How far will you travel? Apollo will travel all over the UK. 5. How long do you play for? Apollo play for 2 x 1 hour spots over a 3 hour period. Extra sets can be added i.e. early evening jazz or dinner music for an additional fee. 6. Will music be played in between your sets? Yes. Apollo will play CD’s of suitable music during their break unless a Disco is also booked for the evening. 7. Do you provide your own equipment? Yes. Apollo always travel with their own sound/lighting technician. A state of the art P.A. System and an intelligent light show enables Apollo to be fully self-contained. 8. How long do you take to set up? Apollo like to allow for 2 hours setting up time. Please let us know in advance if there are any possible access problems i.e. lack of parking, stairs, small entrances as this may affect the price and setting up times. 9. How much space do you need? Probably less than you think, approximately 5m x 4m, Apollo are adept at fitting into unusual spaces! A stage isn’t necessary (although it’s a bonus if you do have one). Apollo can also play outside, but will need to be under cover… Unfortunately you can’t always rely on the British weather. 10. Do Apollo have any other specific requirements? We request adequate power supplies, a minimum of 3 main sockets (further details available on request). We ask that light refreshments and soft drinks be provided for the time that we are with you. 11. Do Apollo have insurance against accidents and damage at venues? Yes. Apollo are members of the ‘Musicians Union’ which has a blanket insurance policy covering public liability up to £5,000,000. 12. Can we come and watch you play live? Almost all of our gigs are private functions, so unfortunately it’s not usually possible. We do perform at charity events a few times a year. We will have all of the details about those special events on the website so do keep in touch!
